NAME OF MEDICINAL PRODUCTS : Terbin Terbinafine 125 mg Tablets
QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
Each I tablet contains 140.625 mg terbinafine hydrochloride eq. to 125 mg terbinafine.
PHARMACEUTICAL FORM : Tablet
Physical characteristics: white to off-white round biconvex tablets, scored from one side uncoated
tablet.
Therapeutic Indications:
Treatment of terbinafine-sensitive fungal infections such as tinca corporis, jockey itch and tinea pedis (caused by dermatophytes, see section Pharmacokinatics) when considered necessary due to the localization, severity or extent of the infection. Treatment of onychomycosis (terbinafine sensitive fungal infection of the nails) caused by dermatophytes.
The national recommendations for the appropriate use and prescription of antifungal substances should be observed.
Notice
As contrasted with topical use, oral terbinafine is not effective in tinea versicolor and vaginal candidiasis.
