Composition:

Each Cobal F film-coated tablet contains:

Mecobalamin                         500 mcg

Folic acid                                200 mcg

Therapeutic Indications:

1. Prevention of pregnancy complications such as: early abortion, low-birth weight, neural tube defects, pre-eclampsia, placental abruption, & maternal hyperhomocysteinaemia associated with increased risk of congenital heart disease.

2. Treatment & prevention of folate deficiency state.

3. Megaloblastic macrocytic anaemia.

4. Malaise & fatigue.

5. Reduces risk of cardiovascular disorders, as it decreases homocysteine level in the blood

6. In cases of inadequate nutrition, eg. elderly people & vegetarians

7. Osteoporosis & lumbago.

8. Male & female infertility caused by hypovitaminosis B12
